The Northerner
The Northerner is a reclusive artist from St Helen's who wishes to remain anonymous and simply go by his distinctive signature. He draws inspiration from his childhood and working life as a miner observing the communities and workmen during their daily lives. The Northerner's style of harsh tones and bright elements are reflective of the industry itself, both representing its heyday and inevitable consignment to history.
